Cain and Abel
[4] Abel, on his part, also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And Yahweh had regard for Abel and for his offering; [5] but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard. So Cain became very angry, and his countenance fell. [Gen 4:4-5 LSB]
[4] By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he was approved as being righteous--God approving his gifts--and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks. [Heb 11:4 LSB]

The Generations of Adam
[1] This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. [2] He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them Man in the day when they were created. [Gen 5:1-2 LSB]
The Nephilim and the Daughters of Men
[3] Then Yahweh said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever because he indeed is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be 120 years." [Gen 6:3 LSB]
[6] And Yahweh regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. [Gen 6:6 LSB]
[8] But Noah found favor in the eyes of Yahweh. [Gen 6:8 LSB]
The Generations of Noah
[9] These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among [those in] his generations; Noah walked with God. [Gen 6:9 LSB]
[18] "But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall enter the ark--you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you. [Gen 6:18 LSB]
[22] Thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did. [Gen 6:22 LSB]
