Genesis 1-3

Creation

[26] Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, so that they will have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." [27] And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. [Gen 1:26-27 LSB]

[14] I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. [Psa 139:14 LSB]

[31] And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. [Gen 1:31 LSB]

[2] And on the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. [3] Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on it He rested from all His work which God had created in making [it]. [Gen 2:2-3 LSB]

[1] Therefore, let us fear, lest, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have fallen short of it. [Heb 4:1 LSB]

[6] Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news proclaimed to them failed to enter because of disobedience, [7] He again determines a certain day, "TODAY," saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS." [Heb 4:6-7 LSB]

The Generations of the Heavens and the Earth

[7] Then Yahweh God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and so the man became a living being. [Gen 2:7 LSB]

[4] "The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life. [Job 33:4 LSB]

[16] And Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may surely eat; [17] but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat from it; for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die." [Gen 2:16-17 LSB]

[18] Then Yahweh God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him." [19] And out of the ground Yahweh God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and He brought [each] to the man to see what he would call it; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. [Gen 2:18-19 LSB]

[23] Then the man said, "This one finally is bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called Woman, Because this one was taken out of Man." [Gen 2:23 LSB]

Adam and Eve Sent Out from the Garden

[6] Then the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make [one] wise, so she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate. [Gen 3:6 LSB]

[16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. [1Jo 2:16 LSB]

[14] And [it was] not Adam [who] was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into trespass. [15] But she will be saved through the bearing of children, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with self-restraint. [1Ti 2:14-15 LSB]

[15] And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel." [Gen 3:15 LSB]

[14] Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, [15] and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. [Heb 2:14-15 LSB]
