Christ Is Undivided

[2] To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called as saints, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their [Lord] and ours:

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God

[17] For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to proclaim the gospel, not in wisdom of word, so that the cross of Christ will not be made empty. 

[18] For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.

[22] For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom, 

[23] but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, 

[24] but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

[30] But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

Paul’s Reliance upon the Spirit

[3] And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, 

[4] and my word and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 

[5] so that your faith would not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Jesus Christ, Our Foundation

[21] So then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, 

[22] whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, 

[23] and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
