Zec 7:5-6 LSB - [5] "Speak to all the people of the land and to the priests, saying, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months these seventy years, was it actually for Me that you fasted? [6] 'And when you eat and when you drink, are you not eating for yourselves and are you not drinking for yourselves?

1Co 10:31 LSB - [31] Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Zec 7:11-12 LSB - [11] "But they refused to give heed and turned a stubborn shoulder and dulled their ears from hearing. [12] "And they made their hearts diamond-hard so that they could not hear the law and the words which Yahweh of hosts had sent by His Spirit by the hand of the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from Yahweh of hosts.

Jerusalem, the City of Truth

Zec 8:3 LSB - [3] "Thus says Yahweh, 'I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of Yahweh of hosts [will be called] the Holy Mountain.'

Zec 8:23 LSB - [23] "Thus says Yahweh of hosts, 'In those days ten men from every tongue of the nations will take hold of the garment of a Jew, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."'"

Isa 2:2-4 LSB -

[2] Now it will be that In the last days

The mountain of the house of Yahweh

Will be established as the head of the mountains,

And will be lifted up above the hills;

And all the nations will stream to it.

[3] And many peoples will come and say,

"Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh,

To the house of the God of Jacob,

That He may instruct us from His ways

And that we may walk in His paths."

For from Zion the law will go forth

And the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.

[4] And He will judge between the nations,

And will render decisions for many peoples;

And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. 

Nation will not lift up sword against nation, 

And never again will they learn war.

Yahweh’s Oracle Against Israel’s Enemies

Zec 9:7 LSB - [7] And I will remove their blood from their mouth And their detestable things from between their teeth. Then they also will be a remnant for our God, And be like a clan in Judah, And Ekron like a Jebusite.

The Coming King of Zion

Zec 9:9 LSB - [9] Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Make a loud shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is righteous and endowed with salvation, Lowly and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a pack animal.

Mat 21:4-5 LSB - 

[4] And this took place in order that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying, 

[5] "SAY TO THE DAUGHTER OF ZION, 'BEHOLD YOUR KING IS COMING TO YOU, LOWLY, AND MOUNTED ON A DONKEY, AND ON A COLT, THE FOAL OF A PACK ANIMAL.'"

Zec 9:13 LSB - [13] For I will bend Judah as My bow; I will fill the bow with Ephraim. And I will rouse up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; And I will make you like a mighty man's sword.

Zec 9:16 LSB - [16] And Yahweh their God will save them in that day As the flock of His people; For [they are as] the stones of a crown, Sparkling in His land.

Yahweh Will Redeem Judah and Israel

Zec 10:6 LSB - [6] "I will make the house of Judah mighty, And I will save the house of Joseph, And I will cause them to return, Because I have had compassion on them; And they will be as though I had not rejected them, For I am Yahweh their God, and I will answer them.
