Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
Jhn 14:16-17 LSB -
[16] "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, that He may be with you forever;
[17] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. You know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
Jhn 14:21 LSB - [21] "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him."

I Am the True Vine
Jhn 15:1-2 LSB -
[1] "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine-grower.
[2] "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every [branch] that bears fruit, He cleans it so that it may bear more fruit.
Jhn 15:5 LSB - [5] "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

If the World Hates You

[18] "If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before [it hated] you.
[19] "If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.
Jhn 15:26-27 LSB -
[26] "When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness about Me,
[27] and you [will] bear witness also, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
