The 144,000
Rev 7:3-4 LSB -
[3] saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads."
[4] And I heard the number of those having been sealed, 144,000 sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
Rev 14:1, 3-5 LSB -[1] Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb [was] standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads. ...[3] And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been purchased from the earth.[4] These are the ones who are not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These [are] the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.[5] And NO LIE WAS FOUND IN THEIR MOUTH; they are blameless.
A Multitude from Every Nation
Rev 7:9-17 LSB -
[9] After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and [all] tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches [were] in their hands;
[10] and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation [belongs] to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."
[11] And all the angels were standing around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
[12] saying, "Amen, the blessing and the glory and the wisdom and the thanksgiving and the honor and the power and the strength, [be] to our God forever and ever. Amen."
[13] Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These, clothed in the white robes, who are they, and from where have they come?"
[14] And I said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 6:9-11 LSB -
[9] And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the witness which they had maintained;
[10] and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Master, holy and true? Will You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"
[11] And a white robe was given to each of them; and it was told to them that they should rest for a little while longer, until [the number of] their fellow slaves and their brothers who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
[15] "For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His sanctuary; and He who sits on the throne will dwell over them.
[16] "THEY WILL HUNGER NO LONGER, NOR THIRST ANYMORE; NOR WILL THE SUN BEAT DOWN ON THEM, NOR ANY HEAT;
[17] for the Lamb at the center of the throne will shepherd them and will guide them to springs of the water of life. And God WILL WIPE EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES."
The Seventh Seal
Rev 8:3-4 LSB -
[3] And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.
[4] And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints, out of the angel's hand, before God.
The Seven Trumpets
Rev 8:12 LSB - [12] And the fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.
Rev 8:13 LSB - [13] Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in midheaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!"
Rev 9:4 LSB - [4] And they were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
Rev 9:20-21 LSB -
[20] And the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
[21] And they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their sexual immorality nor of their thefts.
