Proverbs 13-15 - A gentle answer

The Proverbs of Solomon

Pro 13:18 LSB - [18] Poverty and disgrace [come] to him who neglects discipline, But he who keeps reproof will be honored.

Pro 13:24 LSB - [24] He who holds back his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him diligently.

Pro 3:12 LSB - [12] For whom Yahweh loves He reproves, Even as a father [reproves] the son in whom he delights.

Pro 19:18 LSB - [18] Discipline your son while there is hope, And do not direct your soul to put him to death.

Pro 14:2 LSB - [2] He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh, But he who is devious in his ways despises Him.

Pro 14:27 LSB - [27] The fear of Yahweh is a fountain of life, To turn aside from the snares of death.

Pro 14:29 LSB - [29] He who is slow to anger has great discernment, But he who is quick-tempered raises up folly.

Pro 14:33 LSB - [33] Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding, But in the midst of fools it is [merely] made known.

Pro 15:1 LSB - [1] A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.

Pro 25:15 LSB - [15] When one is slow to anger, a ruler may be persuaded, And a soft tongue breaks the bone.

Pro 15:3 LSB - [3] The eyes of Yahweh are in every place, Watching the evil and the good.
