The Parable of the Unrighteous Steward

[9] "And I say to you, make friends for yourselves from the wealth of unrighteousness, so that when it fails, they will take you into the eternal dwellings. [Luk 16:9 LSB]

The Rich Man and Lazarus

[22] "Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom, and the rich man also died and was buried. [Luk 16:22 LSB]

[3] "Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

The Coming of the Son of Man

[26] "And just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 

[27] they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. [Luk 17:26-27 LSB]

[28] "It was the same as in the days of Lot--they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;

[34] "I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left. [35] "There will be two women grinding [grain] at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left.

Parables on Prayer

[1] Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, [Luk 18:1 LSB]

[7] "Now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? 

[8] "I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find that faith on the earth?" [Luk 18:7-8 LSB]

[13] "But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!'

The Rich Young Ruler

[22] And when Jesus heard [this], He said to him, "One thing you still lack: sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven. And come, follow Me." [Luk 18:22 LSB]

Bartimaeus Regains His Sight

[42] And Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has saved you." 

[43] Immediately he regained his sight and [began] following Him, glorifying God. And when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God. [Luk 18:42-43 LSB]
