Exodus 34-36

Stone Tablets Like the Former Ones

[6] Then Yahweh passed by in front of him and called out, "Yahweh, Yahweh God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; [7] who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression, and sin; yet He will by no means leave [the guilty] unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations." Yahweh Cuts a Covenant with Israel

[28] So he was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread or drink water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. [Exo 34:28 LSB]

The Shining Face of Moses

[29] Now it happened when Moses was coming down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the testimony [were] in Moses' hand as he was coming down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because of his speaking with Him. [Exo 34:29 LSB]

The Sabbath Command

[2] "Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy [day], a sabbath of complete rest to Yahweh; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. [Exo 35:2 LSB]

Willing Hearts Contribute to Yahweh

[5] 'Take from among you a contribution to Yahweh; whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as a contribution to Yahweh: gold, silver, and bronze, [Exo 35:5 LSB]

[10] 'And let everyone wise at heart among you come and make all that Yahweh has commanded: [Exo 35:10 LSB]

Contributions Brought by the People

[21] And everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit was willing came [and] brought the contribution to Yahweh for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments. [22] Then all whose hearts were willing, both men and women, came [and] brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and bracelets, all articles of gold; so [did] every man who waved it as a wave offering of gold to Yahweh. Making the Tabernacle

[2] Then Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every person wise at heart to whom Yahweh had given wisdom, everyone whose heart stirred him, to come to the work to do it. [Exo 36:2 LSB]
