Exodus 31-33

Bezalel and Oholiab

[2] "See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. [3] "And I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in discernment, in knowledge, and in all [kinds of] craftsmanship, [Exo 31:2-3 LSB]

[6] "And behold, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are wise at heart I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you: [Exo 31:6 LSB]

The Sign of the Sabbath

[13] "But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall surely keep My sabbaths; for [this] is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am Yahweh who makes you holy. [Exo 31:13 LSB]

[18] When He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God. [Exo 31:18 LSB]

The Golden Calf

[14] So Yahweh relented concerning the harm which He said He would do to His people. [Exo 32:14 LSB]

[19] "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not establish it? [Num 23:19 LSB]

[32] "But now, if You will forgive their sin--but if not, please blot me out from Your book which You have written!" [33] And Yahweh said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book. [Exo 32:32-33 LSB]

[3] For I could wish that I myself were accursed, [separated] from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh, [Rom 9:3 LSB]

Moses and the Tent of Meeting

[9] And it happened whenever Moses entered the tent, that the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent; and Yahweh would speak with Moses. [Exo 33:9 LSB]

[11] Thus Yahweh used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, and his attendant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent. [Exo 33:11 LSB]

Moses and the Glory of Yahweh

[19] And He said, "I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of Yahweh before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will show compassion on whom I will show compassion." [Exo 33:19 LSB]
