The Statutes of Sin Offerings

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All

[1] For the Law, since it has [only] a shadow of the good things to come [and] not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. ... A New and Living Way

[19] Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, [20] by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, [21] and since [we have] a great priest over the house of God, [22] let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Warning Against Willful Sin

[36] For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. [37] FOR YET IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE, HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY. By Faith

Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of Faith

The Father’s Discipline

An Unshakable Kingdom

The Priesthoods of Melchizedek and Christ

Jesus, High Priest of a New Covenant

The Old Covenant

The Believer’s Rest

[1] Therefore, let us fear, lest, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have fallen short of it. [12] For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Jesus Our Great High Priest

[14] Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us take hold of our confession. [15] For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things like [we are, yet] without sin. [16] Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. [Heb 4:14-16 LSB]

Warning Against Falling Away

[4] For in the case of those once having been enlightened and having tasted of the heavenly gift and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit, [5] and having tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, [6] and having fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. The Inheritance of the Promises

[9] But we are convinced about you, beloved, of things that are better and that belong to salvation, though we are speaking in this way.
