O Yahweh, Deliver My Soul

In my distress I called to Yahweh, 

And He answered me. [2] 

O Yahweh, deliver my soul from a lying lip, 

From a deceitful tongue.

My Help Comes from Yahweh

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; 

From where shall my help come? 

[2] My help [comes] from Yahweh, 

Who made heaven and earth.

Nor the moon by night.

To You I Lift Up My Eyes

To You I lift up my eyes, 

The One enthroned in the heavens! 

[2] Behold, as the eyes of slaves [look] to the hand of their master, 

As the eyes of a servant-girl to the hand of her mistress, 

So our eyes [look] to Yahweh our God, 

Until He is gracious to us.

Yahweh Was on Our Side

When men rose up against us,

When their anger was kindled against us;

Those Who Sow in Tears Shall Reap with Joy

As the streams in the Negev. 

[5] Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.

Unless Yahweh Builds the House

Unless Yahweh builds the house, 

They labor in vain who build it; 

Unless Yahweh watches the city, 

The watchman keeps awake in vain.

Blessed Is Everyone Who Fears Yahweh

Yahweh Has Cut the Cords of the Wicked

[2] "Many times they have assailed me from my youth up;

They lengthened their furrows."

Yahweh Will Redeem Israel
