Yahweh’s Wrath Spent
Lam 4:7-8 LSB - [7] ZAYIN
Her Nazirites were purer than snow;
They were whiter than milk;
They were more ruddy [in] body than corals,
Their polishing [was like] lapis lazuli.
[8] HETH Their form is blacker than soot;
They are not recognized in the streets;
Their skin is shriveled on their bones;
It is withered, it has become like wood.
O Yahweh, Remember Us!
Lam 5:1 LSB - [1] Remember, O Yahweh, what has happened to us; Look, and see our reproach!
Lam 5:21-22 LSB -
[21] Cause us to return to You,
O Yahweh, that we may be returned;
Renew our days as of old,
[22] Even if You have utterly rejected us
[And] are exceedingly angry with us.
