2 Corinthians 4-6

The Gospel of the Glory of Christ

2Co 4:3-4 LSB -
[3] And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
[4] in whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2Co 4:6 LSB - [6] For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

2Co 4:10 LSB - [10] always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

2Co 4:16 LSB - [16] Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

Job 19:26 LSB - [26] "Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall behold God,

The Temporal and Eternal

2Co 5:1-3 LSB -
[1] For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
[2] For indeed in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,
[3] inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked.

2Co 5:10 LSB - [10] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

2Co 5:17 LSB - [17] Therefore if anyone is in Christ, [he is] a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

2Co 5:18-19 LSB -
[18] Now all [these] things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
[19] namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their transgressions against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

2Co 5:20-21 LSB -
[20] So then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as God is pleading through us. We beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
[21] He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Commendable Ministers of God

2Co 6:1-2 LSB -
[1] And working together [with Him], we also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain-- [2] for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION"--

Isa 49:8 LSB -
[8] Thus says Yahweh, "In an acceptable time I have answered You,
And in a day of salvation I have helped You;
And I will guard You and give You for a covenant of the people,
To establish the land, to make [them] inherit the desolate inheritance;

2Co 6:16 LSB - [16] Or what agreement has a sanctuary of God with idols? For we are a sanctuary of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

1Co 3:16 LSB - [16] Do you not know that you are a sanctuary of God and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1Co 6:19 LSB - [19] Or do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?

Psa 90:1 LSB - [1] A Prayer of Moses, the man of God. Lord, You have been our dwelling place from generation to generation.

Psa 90:1 LSB - [1] A Prayer of Moses, the man of God. Lord, You have been our dwelling place from generation to generation.

Jer 31:33 LSB - [33] "But this is the covenant which I will cut with the house of Israel after those days," declares Yahweh: "I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
