Whatever Your Hand Finds to Do - Ecclesiastes 7-9

Wisdom and Folly Contrasted

[16] Do not be excessively righteous, and do not be overly wise. Why should you make yourself desolate? [Ecc 7:16 LSB]

[3] "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, [Mat 6:3 LSB]

[20] Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who [continually] does good and who never sins.
[Ecc 7:20 LSB]

Keep the Command of the King

[15] So I laud gladness, for there is nothing good for a man under the sun except to eat and to drink and to be merry, and this will join with him in his labor [throughout] the days of his life which God has given him under the sun.
[Ecc 8:15 LSB]

Mankind Is in the Hand of God

[4] For whoever is joined with all the living, there is confidence; surely a live dog is better than a dead lion.
[Ecc 9:4 LSB]

[9] See life with the woman whom you love all the days of your vain life, which He has given to you under the sun--all the days of your vanity; for this is your portion in life and in your labor in which you have labored under the sun.
[Ecc 9:9 LSB]

Whatever Your Hand Finds to Do

[10] Whatever your hand finds to do, do [it] with [all] your might; for there is no working or explaining or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
[Ecc 9:10 LSB]
