The Statutes of Sin Offerings
Lev 4:1-4 LSB - [1] Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, [2] "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'If a person sins unintentionally in any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and he does any one of them, [3] if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him bring near to Yahweh a bull from the herd without blemish as a sin offering for the sin he has committed. [4] 'Then he shall bring the bull to the doorway of the tent of meeting before Yahweh, and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull and slaughter the bull before Yahweh.
Lev 4:5-6, 32 LSB - [5] 'Then the anointed priest shall take some of the blood of the bull and bring it to the tent of meeting, [6] and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before Yahweh in front of the veil of the sanctuary. ... [32] 'But if he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring it, a female without blemish.
Lev 4:27-28 LSB - [27] 'Now if anyone of the common people sins unintentionally in doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and becomes guilty, [28] or if his sin which he has committed is made known to him, then he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has committed.
Lev 5:4-6 LSB - [4] 'Or if a person swears thoughtlessly with his lips to do evil or to do good, in whatever matter a man may speak thoughtlessly with a [sworn] oath, and it is hidden from him, and then he comes to know [it], he will be guilty in one of these. [5] 'So it shall be, when he becomes guilty in one of these, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned. [6] 'He shall also bring his guilt offering to Yahweh for his sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin.

I lay my sins on Jesus
1 I lay my sins on Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God;He bears them all, and frees usfrom the accursed load;I bring my guilt to Jesus,to wash my crimson stainswhite in His blood most precious, till not a spot remains.2 I lay my wants on Jesus;all fullness dwells in Him;He heals all my diseases,He doth my soul redeem;I lay my griefs on Jesus,my burdens and my cares; He from them all releases,He all my sorrow shares.3 I rest my soul on Jesus, this weary soul of mine; His right hand me embraces,I on His breast recline.I love the Name of Jesus,Immanuel, Christ, the Lord;like fragrance on the breezesHis Name abroad is poured.4 I long to be like Jesus, meek, loving, lowly, mild;I long to be like Jesus, the Father's holy Child;I long to be with Jesusamid the heav'nly throng,to sing with saints His praises,to learn the angels' song.
