You Will Not Forsake My Soul

Psa 16:8 LSB - [8] I have set Yahweh continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Psa 16:9-10 LSB - 

[9] Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will dwell securely. 

[10] For You will not forsake my soul to Sheol; You will not give Your Holy One over to see corruption.

Act 13:32-35 LSB - 

[32] "And we proclaim to you the good news of the promise made to the fathers, 

[33] that God has fulfilled this [promise] to our children in that He raised up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm, 'YOU ARE MY SON; TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU.' 

[34] "[But] that He raised Him up from the dead, no longer to return to corruption, He has spoken in this way: 'I WILL GIVE YOU THE HOLY [and] FAITHFUL [lovingkindnesses] OF DAVID.' 

[35] "Therefore He also says in another [Psalm], 'YOU WILL NOT GIVE YOUR HOLY ONE OVER TO SEE CORRUPTION.'

In the Shadow of Your Wings

Psa 17:1 LSB - [1] A Prayer of David. 

Hear a righteous cause, O Yahweh, give heed to my cry of lamentation; 

Give ear to my prayer, which is not from deceitful lips.

Psa 17:2-3 LSB - 

[2] May my judgment come from Your presence; 

May Your eyes behold what is upright. 

[3] You have tested my heart; 

You have visited [me] by night; 

You have tried me and You find nothing; 

I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.

Psa 17:8 LSB - [8] Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of Your wings.

Yahweh Is My Rock and My Fortress

Psa 18:1-2 LSB - [1] For the choir director. Of the servant of Yahweh, of David, who spoke to Yahweh the words of this song in the day that Yahweh delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. 

He said, "I love You, O Yahweh, my strength." 

[2] Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, 

My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; 

My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psa 18:6 LSB - 

[6] In my distress I called upon Yahweh, 

And cried to my God for help; 

He heard my voice out of His temple, 

And my cry for help before Him came into His ears.
