Revelation 13-15

The Beast from the Sea

[4] And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?" [Rev 13:4 ESV]

[11] "Who is like you, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders? [Exo 15:11 ESV]

[8] And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, [everyone] whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. [Rev 13:8 LSB]

[10] If anyone [is destined] for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints. [Rev 13:10 LSB]

The Beast from the Earth

[15] And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. [Rev 13:15 LSB]

[16] And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, that they be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, [Rev 13:16 LSB]

[8] "You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as phylacteries between your eyes. [Deu 6:8 LSB]

The Lamb and the 144,000

[1] Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb [was] standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads. [Rev 14:1 LSB]

[3] And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been purchased from the earth. [4] These are the ones who are not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These [are] the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb. [5] And NO LIE WAS FOUND IN THEIR MOUTH; they are blameless. [Rev 14:3-5 LSB]

The Messages of the Three Angels

[6] Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who inhabit the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. [7] And he said with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters." [Rev 14:6-7 LSB]

[9] Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, [10] and he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His rage, and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. [11] "And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." [12] Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. [Rev 14:9-12 LSB]

Reaping the Earth’s Harvest

[16] Then He who sits on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped. [Rev 14:16 LSB]

[19] So the angel swung his sickle to the earth and gathered [the clusters from] the vine of the earth, and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God. [20] And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses' bridles, for a distance of 1,600 stadia. [Rev 14:19-20 LSB]

Seven Angels, Seven Plagues

[2] Then I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who have overcome the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. [Rev 15:2 LSB]
