Romans 6-8 In Christ Jesus

Baptized into Christ Jesus, into his death

Romans 6:3 ESV — Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

Buried with him by baptism into death

Romans 6:4 ESV — We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

United with him in a death like his

Romans 6:5 ESV — For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Our old self was crucified with him 

Romans 6:6 ESV — We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

Died with Christ

Romans 6:8 ESV — Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

Died to the law

Romans 7:4 ESV — Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.

Released from the law

Romans 7:6 ESV — But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.

Set free from the law of sin and death

Romans 8:2 ESV — For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

Not in the flesh but in the Spirit

Romans 8:9 ESV — You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

Led by the Spirit of God 

Romans 8:14 ESV — For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Love God

Romans 8:28 ESV — And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Foreknown, Predestined, Called, Justified, and Glorified

Romans 8:29-30 ESV — For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
