Everlasting Covenants

[Psa 105:10 ESV] which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,

1) the Noahic Covenant
[Gen 9:16 ESV] When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth."

2) the Abrahamic Covenant
[Gen 17:7 ESV] And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

[Gen 17:19 ESV] God said, "No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.

3) the Priestly Covenant
[Lev 24:8 ESV] Every Sabbath day Aaron shall arrange it before the LORD regularly; it is from the people of Israel as a covenant forever.

 4) the Davidic Covenant
[2Sa 23:5 ESV] "For does not my house stand so with God? For he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and secure. For will he not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?

5)the New Covenant
[Jer 32:40 ESV] I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me.

Jesus the guarantor and mediator of the new and better covenant
Hebrews 7:21-22 ESV — but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him:
“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
‘You are a priest forever.’” This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.

Hebrews 9:13-15 ESV — For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

The Doctrine of Imputation

https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/essay/the-doctrine-of-imputation/

[Lev 16:6 NKJV] "Aaron shall offer the bull as a sin offering, which [is] for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house.

[Lev 16:21 NKJV] "Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send [it] away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man.

[Lev 16:22 NKJV] "The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.

[Num 27:18 NKJV] And the LORD said to Moses: "Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom [is] the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;

[Deu 34:9 NKJV] Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.

[1Ti 4:14 NKJV] Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

[Isa 53:4 NKJV] Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

[Isa 53:5 NKJV] But He [was] wounded for our transgressions, [He was] bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace [was] upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

[Isa 53:11 NKJV] He shall see the labor of His soul, [and] be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.

[Isa 53:12 NKJV] Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.

[Deu 6:25 NKJV] 'Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us.'

[Lev 18:5 NKJV] 'You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them: I [am] the LORD.

[Zec 3:1 NKJV] Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.

[Lev 16:4 NKJV] "He shall put the holy linen tunic and the linen trousers on his body; he shall be girded with a linen sash, and with the linen turban he shall be attired. These [are] holy garments. Therefore he shall wash his body in water, and put them on.

[Zec 3:4 NKJV] Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes."

[Isa 61:10 NKJV] I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks [himself] with ornaments, And as a bride adorns [herself] with her jewels.

[2Co 5:21 NKJV] For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

[Gen 15:6 NKJV] And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

[Rom 4:3 NKJV] For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."

[Rom 4:4 NKJV] Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

[Rom 4:5 NKJV] But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,

[Rom 4:6 NKJV] just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:

[Rom 4:7 NKJV] "Blessed [are those] whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;

[Rom 5:12 NKJV] Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned--

[Rom 5:13 NKJV] (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

[Rom 5:14 NKJV] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

[Rom 5:15 NKJV] But the free gift [is] not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

[Rom 5:16 NKJV] And the gift [is] not like [that which came] through the one who sinned. For the judgment [which came] from one [offense resulted] in condemnation, but the free gift [which came] from many offenses [resulted] in justification.

[Rom 5:17 NKJV] For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

[Rom 5:18 NKJV] Therefore, as through one man's offense [judgment came] to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act [the free gift came] to all men, resulting in justification of life.

[Rom 5:19 NKJV] For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.

[Rom 5:20 NKJV] Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,

[Rom 5:21 NKJV] so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

[1Co 15:45 NKJV] And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam [became] a life-giving spirit.

[Rom 5:19 NKJV] For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.

[Eph 2:8 NKJV] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,

[Eph 2:9 NKJV] not of works, lest anyone should boast.
