When John recognized Jesus in John 21:7, he said to Peter, "It is the Lord". I wondered why John did not call or go to Jesus immediately instead.
However when Peter heard this, he girt his fisher's coat unto him and cast himself into the sea.
We all have different temperaments and God uses us in different ways. When we recognize Jesus as our Lord, we may react in various ways. However our Lord receives and uses our different responses.
I am starting my second day at Samsung Electronics. I pray that I would sight and reconize the Lord as I meet and deal with various people. I also pray that I would tell others, "It is the Lord" in my testimonies as well as in my actions.
Lord,
Be with brothers and sisters in Chicago as they share the gospel with non-believers. Please bless the Bible seminar this week to call many lost sinners to you.
Lord,
Be with my family and give strength to Emily as she does many things to finialize the move to Korea. Be with my brother Daniel and his family.
Amen.

It is interesting that you said that there are different temperaments or different responses to the Lord. But most of the time, we don't see it that way. If people don't respond like Peter, we deny fellowship, respect, and even sometime give hate. How refreshing it will be when Christians can honor one another. I myself am also far from realizing this in my life. But I want to be broad as you say, i.e. to be broad as our Lord. "Who are you who judge another's household servant? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will be made to stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand" (Rom. 14:4).
